Details:
The Science & Health Career Academy motivates and challenges mature
7th & 8th graders to investigate many fields of science and healthcare.
Students will explore human anatomy and physiology, learn basic first
aid and how to take vital signs, dissect a pig heart and lung, learn
culturing and microscope use, have an in-depth tour of a local hospital,
and learn how to prepare for a career in science or healthcare. Instructors
are HACC faculty members and local health care professionals. Lunch
daily and transportation to field trips is included. *Day Camp*
