Harrisburg PA State GEAR UP’s college and career speaker series
is bringing community business people, educators, and members of the
armed forces into the classroom to inform and interact with students
about preparation for college and career opportunities. Speakers have
visited 7th and 8th grade classrooms at Ben Franklin, Steele, Math and
Science Academy, Lincoln, Hamilton, Rowland and Downey schools and 9th
grade classrooms at William Penn, Harrisburg High School and Sci Tech
High School.
