School District of Philadelphia educators offered spring graduate courses

As part of the professional development program under the PA State GEAR UP Project, State System university professors are currently providing instruction in several content areas and Praxis preparation to Philadelphia educators. Teachers will receive three graduate credits at the completion of the course work.

Graduate courses (PDF File Size: 70KB) are presently being offered to district teachers with preference given to those educators in James Blaine, Frederick Douglas, Hill Freedman, L.P. Hill, Morris Leeds, Ada Lewis, George Pepper, Strawberry Mansion Middle School, William Tilden, John Turner, and Louis Wagner schools, which comprise the PA State GEAR UP cohort of students.
